MINDFULNESS COURSEIN BERLIN MITTE
WHAT IS MINDFULNESS and MBSR?
Mindfulness is about being nonjudgmental in the present moment. Everyone can learn it by taking time for an 8-week MBSR long course and daily exercises.
What is mindfulness good for? Since the seventies, research has shown that training mindfulness results in structural changes in the brain, resulting in being better able to deal with stress and pain, suffering less from depression, being able to concentrate and relax better.
The recognition of one’s own emotions and thoughts opens room for action. This allows participants not only to become aware of patterns that cause stress but also to transform those patterns into new ones that are less damaging.
YOUR MBSR-TRAINER IN BERLIN
Dr. Franziska Frank is a qualified MBSR-teacher. MBSR stands for Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. She received her education from the Center of Mindfulness at the Stress Reduction Clinic University (Massachusetts, USA) founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn. She is fascinated by the plasticity of the brain: the scientifically proven ability of our thinking organ to change fundamentally during our whole life.
